I’ve been making a lot of pandesal (Filipino version of rolls) lately; Maggie and her Dad love them. With the frequency that I make them, I can now do it with my eyes closed (just kidding)!
Today, I decided to change things a bit just to break the monotony. I used brown sugar instead of white and added flaxseed. They turned out good! I bet Maggie’s Dad can finish five in a sitting. 😊
Back when I was in the Philippines though, I didn’t learn how to make pandesal. And we weren’t even fans. How funny!
It is a happy Easter!!! We heard Mass and joined in the egg hunt afterwards. Maggie was so thrilled to collect the eggs. She wasn’t as fast as the other kids so she didn’t get to fill her basket to the brim. Nevertheless, she had a great time!
By the way, Maggie’s eyes widened as she found the candies/chocolates in the eggs. Obviously, she is so deprived! We allowed her to eat two pieces, which she obeyed. I’m glad she can be restrained when it comes to sweets (unlike me, haha)!
fruity desserts for Easter done! 😋
dyeing and painting Easter eggs 😊
The house is clean (yes, that’s our teeny tiny dining table). Maggie is napping. I’m waiting for the last load of laundry in the dryer. Maybe I should take a quick nap, too. ☺️
