On Monday When It Rained

Dear Maggie,

Although I sometimes get tired of having to read you a story before nap time/bedtime, I am glad that your interest in books has never waned. You can get engrossed in iPad games or TV shows yet you don’t show any resistance about dropping them whenever I announce, “Story time!” 

We read On Monday When It Rained earlier, and decided to have a mini photo-op as you follow the facial expressions of the boy in the book. We both had a great time, laughing at each other and at ourselves as well.

Thank you for the joy and the light you keep bringing into my (and your Dad’s) days. Amidst all life’s trials and problems, we never think of giving up because we have you.

Tomorrow, we might read The Snail and the Whale (a very nice book given by Littlest’s Mommy) again.
